- We do visitations and adoptions via appointments only. Please call us 219-865-6992 to schedule an appointment.
Remember
- Our jurisdiction lies within Schererville. If you live outside Town limits, please contact your own local Animal Control or Shelter.
- The Town of Schererville maintains an ordinance limiting each household to five (5) animals, for both cats and dogs (or any combination).
- Please do not leave animals in any vehicle; Town of Schererville has an ordinance against leaving any animal for any length of time in a vehicle.
Consider a Pet Friendly License plate! Proceeds go towards helping Animal Control Depts like ours with trap and release (TNR) programs for feral cats in Town and it helps provide vouchers to get our shelter animals spayed and neutered!
